Mobility and migration

NOTE 1: The Mobility and migration tables for Part 38, Part 39, Part 40, Part 42, Part 43, and Part 44 contain a full matrix with several dimensions such as age, sex, components of migration (in- and out-) while tables for Part 41 and Part 45 will only contain 1 dimension, due to the level of geography being offered - Census Subdivisions. The procedures for extracting the latter tables will be identical to the Place of Work flow tables. (It is highly recommended that the "OR" logic not be used for a province because it will take hours for the results to show due to too many combinations.)
Please keep in mind that when extracting tables for Part 41 and/or Part 45, you should limit the geographies to 32,000.

NOTE 2: Following is a list of the labels in B20/20 for tables Part 41 and Part 45 and their definitions:

  • POR 1-5: Current place of residence/place of residence 1 or 5 years ago
  • POR: Current place of residence
  • POR 1-5: Place of residence 1 or 5 years ago
  • POR Code: Current place of residence code
  • POR 1-5: Code place of residence code 1 or 5 years ago
  • POR/1-5: Current place of residence code/place of residence 1 or 5 years ago code
